![]() ![]() The input bias is configured so that the VHB-VHS high-side bias can be sourced from V CC, or an external additional bias can be added to provide VHB-VHS directly. A variety of other test points are available for probing the UCC27288. The Texas Instruments UCC27288EVM evaluation board uses surface-mount test points allowing connection to LI, HI, V DD, and HB inputs. It can also be externally connected to power devices with provisions for source and sink gate-resistance flexibility. The evaluation module is developed so that the UCC27288 driver performance can be evaluated and compared to datasheet parameters. This evaluation module serves as a reference design for driving power MOSFETs with up to 20V drive voltage.
